The requirement to report the Gender Pay Gaps in April 2018 refocuses attention on a recurring theme in equality work. What are the legal requirements? Does this policy have teeth? What should organisations do to promote gender inclusion through reward mechanisms?
This session will start with a historical perspective and will advise organisations on what steps should and could be taken.

About the speaker
Dr Chris Bradshaw: Associate Professor, Corporate Development, Leicester Castle Business School
Chris has worked in industry for over 20 years across a range of positions related to Management, Learning and Development, Quality Management, Human Resources and Equality and Diversity. His experience includes work in the public sector with The Post Office Group, local authorities, the NHS and in the private sector with Abbey Life, Gala Bingo and In Hospitality.
He has taught at colleges and universities since 2002 including programmes covering HRM, Management and Leadership, Equality and Diversity and Politics.
With a first degree in Social Science, an MBA and a Ph.D. from the University of the West of Scotland. He teaches primarily on Leicester Castle Business School’s corporate programme and is also involved in business development work. He is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, has been a CIPD external examiner and has held voluntary positions as Chair of the West of Scotland Branch and Treasurer of CIPD Scotland.
His research interests include leadership, employee engagement, equality and diversity and organisational politics.
